'Documenting the body', is a drawing journal in a leporello book that I started after the death of my father. During short daily meditations I registered tension, pain, recollections and mental states I observed in my own body. Thereby describing the fluid exchange between a perceiving body and its surrounding world. A visualization of a mourning process, but also of small physical phenomenons: like the shape and movement of a breath, or the constantly changing state of the tongue.
